Poopy face

We have officially finished putting together all the furniture! All that work makes me tired and sweaty. Aunt Lana came over and helped finish things. At this moment I don't want to screw another screw for a long time.

Even though today was my day off, I still got up at 9:30. I got ready and went out to Uncle Gary's. They hooked my car up and said that the check engine light was detecting a problem with the ETO censor and the speed censor. Of course, I have no idea what that means.

It was 11 when I left there, so I headed over to Target. I just picked up a few things like q-tips and pens. Then I went to Cons. Never ever ever go there. I went in to buy a hook up kit for my dryer and it took forever. When I finally found what I was looking for, the guy helping me had to register me in the computer. He asked for my name, address, phone number, and even took down my ID number. I was pissed; they don't need all that just for me to make a purchase. I almost told them to forget it, but I knew I needed that kit. I still want to call and complain!

After that fiasco I went to Michael's. I bought an over sized wine glass and some blue and silver beads. I'm going to put the beads in the glass and then put my lip glosses in it. I have so many and no place to put them. I think it will look real cute.

Around noon I picked up Les and made the trip out to Ikea. Luckily they had everything I wanted. After shopping, we came home, unloaded the car, and went to his house. It was nice to hang out outside of work.

Then around 7 I came home, ate, and helped put together the furniture. Now I'm exhausted. I need to take a shower, but I don't think I have the energy. Sometimes being clean is overrated.

Only 1 more day until I get the keys to my apartment. I can't wait to see it!!!

I feel nasty and sweaty

Another day of packing done. We finished putting together the rest of my living room furniture. The box on the bottom of the pile had mold on it, but everything cleaned up just fine. Only a couple more things to put together and then it's done!

I've pretty much got all of my packing done. Now I'm left with odd things that I don't know where to put. I bought some of those huge ziploc bags, and they are awesome.

I'm ready to move. I just want it to be over with. I'm tired of packing and assembling things. I've been sweaty and nasty for the past few days. Plus, I can't seem to cool off. I'm always hot.

Tomorrow is my only day off before I move. I have to go out to Uncle Gary's and have him look at my car. Then me and Les are going to Ikea to finish up my shopping. I have to buy a bookcase, 2 cd shelves, 2 black or white shelves, and these wall stickers. Then I'm going to spend some time with Les. He rented some movies for us to watch. But my free time won't last for long. I still have more packing to do :(

The countdown begins...

Well, I've been a busy bee lately. I have about half of my packing done and finished most of my shopping. Today me and Mom went to Lowes and bought paint, a tool box, screw drivers, a step ladder, and more. I took the pillow from my couch up there to have paint made that matches it. I hope it turns out right. I decided to paint my room purple. After spending $114 at Lowes, we went to Chilis for dinner. Then on to WalMart. I had to buy all the basic stuff like toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and whatnot. My basket was full of stuff, and I was really dreading going through the check out. I ended up spending $160 on all that stuff. Needless to say, I was slightly depressed after that. I still have to make another expensive trip to Ikea on Wednesday. Also, I have to buy groceries when I move in.

I have less than a week until I move in. That means I will be very busy. Mom already put together my end table, coffee table, TV stand, and I helped put together one of the shelves. We still have to assemble the other shelf and the dresser. Man oh man there is so much to do. But I'm still excited about moving.

I'm so very tired

So I just finished up the weekend at my new job. I put in over 50 hours last week. I worked all day Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning. I made really good money, about $350 all weekend. I love the money, but I hate that place. They work me to death and it is so chaotic. Half the servers are morons and can't take care of their tables. This job really makes me want to get a 9-5 job.

Today wasn't so bad. I had to work in the morning. I went to sleep at 8 last night, so I was refreshed this morning. I got up, took a shower, and went to work. I was there until about 4:30 and made $63. That's damn good money for a Monday lunch. I did have a table try to walk their check, but one of the managers caught them.

After work, me and Les went to Bueno and then to Blockbuster. He rented movies for us to watch tomorrow. We haven't got to spend time together (outside of work) in probably a week. It'll be nice to just hang out together.

So, I have 2 more weeks until I move into my apartment. It seems so soon. I still have a lot of packing to do. And I also need to schedule my move with the movers. Another trip to Ikea is on my To Do list as well. Hopefully they will have my cd shelves when I go. Maybe I'll go up there on my next day off.

Even though I dread moving, I can't wait to be in my apartment. At first I was excited, then really, really nervous, and now I'm a little sad. It's weird to think that I won't live here anymore. This has been my home for 22 years.

My day

After just a few hours of sleep, I got up this morning and picked up Les. We went to The Jalepeno Tree, and we were hired. Then we went to Posados and quit. I was so nervous and a little scared, but it turned out okay. I had to go buy a new shirt, socks, and a new pair of shoes. I dread going back to the button up shirts.

Later on I went to Kristin's. Liz and Lizeth came over and we all went swimming. It was nice to hang out with the girls. We drank beer and ate pizza.

I've decided to go ahead and get my apartment. I think I need to just do it. Plus, I would be depressed if I didn't get it.

My first blog.

I need something to do with my time, so I thought starting a blog would be a good idea. It seems to be a good time to do it since I have a lot going on in my life right now.

Today was possibly my last day at Posados. I've been there for 3 years, and I think the job has run its course. I'm not making any money and I'm never happy. Tomorrow me and Les are going over to the Jalepeno Tree to get a job. I'm pretty sure we will be hired on the spot. I'm a little sad about leaving Posados, but I just can't work there anymore. Maybe a change is what I need. The Jalepeno Tree has only been open a week, but they have been real busy. I'm hoping that they will continue to be busy and I will have enough money to move into my apartment.

My apartment is another thing I'm worried about. If I start out making good money at my new job, then I will go ahead and move in. The trouble is I haven't found a 9-5 job. I need something with a fixed, steady income. I've had no luck in my job search, but hopefully my luck will change. I have 4 weeks until I move in to my apartment, so I hope I can find another job by then.
