Last days of September

Thursday (Sep. 23) was the Kings of Leon & Black Keys concert. My friend Melissa picked me up and we ate at Twisted Root burger. Then we headed over to the concert and met up with Amber. The weather was perfect and we found a great spot on the lawn. I snuck in my camera and got some pictures of the lovely men from KOL.

Saturday was Audrey's 1st birthday party and also Amber's birthday. That night we all went out to eat at Mariano's and then we went out for drinks. Here is the present I made for Amber.

I also made her a pumpkin cake.

Sunday I delivered the wedding cupcakes to the fundraiser, and Mom and I had lunch at Vera Cruz in Oak Cliff.

Tuesday was my first day of subbing. I had a half day of subbing 5th graders. It wasn't as terrifying as I thought, but it did drain all my energy. My first week went pretty good. I even had 2 students draw me pictures :)

This weekend I went out of town to Oklahoma, but I will blog about that later.

But I do have some pictures to share from the weekend that my friend Becca was in town.

Are you going to sub just one age group or k-12? I'm sticking with elem. right now.

I think I'm sticking with Elem sinc thats what I'll end up teaching anyways.
I dont like high school/jr high.. that intimidates me. And I'd probably wanna punch a few brats in the face.
maybe.
