This weekend I made whoopie pies. I've been wanting to make these for a while. And they were so easy.
I made chocolate cakes because I wanted to start easy. The recipe makes a lot of cakes. I was afraid that they wouldn't be flat and smooth, but they were pretty much perfect when I took them out of the oven. And they cooled super fast.
For the filling I didn't use a recipe from the book. I used the filling I had left over from the cakes I made earlier in the week. I thought it would be perfect for this (and it was!).
And there you have it. One of the easiest, yummiest things ever! I can't wait to try all the other recipes :)

They look delicious!! I'm totally not at all skilled in the kitchen, but this looks like a recipe that perhaps I could follow without totally screwing up. Thanks so much for sharing!
